Join KGMI NewsTalk 790 at any of our Shopping Spree broadcasts and completely fill out an entry with your name, birthdate, phone number, and city of residence for a chance to win the $1,000 Shopping Spree. Listeners will have the opportunity to enter a total of six (6) times. One entry per broadcast. May not enter more than once per broadcast. Broadcasts will occur at the following dates/locations:

Grand Prize is a $1,000 credit to be used as the winner wishes among the contest sponsors. To make a claim, the sponsor shall deliver an invoice to Lynn Roberts at Cascade Radio Group. Cascade Radio Group will then cut a check to the sponsor for the value of the purchase. This value will be deducted from the credit available to the winner. Winner should keep track of their remaining balance when making purchases. Any remaining balance over $1,000 will be winner’s responsibility and may prohibit them from claiming their purchase until it is paid (at the discretion of the sponsor). The winner has until March 17th, 2019 to spend their winnings. If all $1,000 is not used before the deadline, it will be forfeited. Once the remaining balance is below $50.00, a check can be cut directly to the winner to zero out the balance of the winnings. KGMI contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 18 or older, that have not won anything on KGMI in the past 30 days or any prize with a retail value of $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. At the completion of the “Shopping Spree” contest, 1 entry will be drawn from all entries submitted to win the grand prize drawing. If an entry is deemed ineligible, it will be disqualified and a new entry will be drawn in its place.
On Monday, December 17th at approximately 8:50am one winner will be drawn at random by a designated KGMI staff member from all entries and double checked for any eligibility restrictions. Once the entry drawn is deemed eligible, the winner will be announced on air. If the entry drawn is deemed to be ineligible, a new winner will be drawn. Employees of KGMI, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the KGMI main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
Grand Prize will be awarded after the winner has completed all applicable tax forms. Winner will be responsible for all applicable state & local, and federal taxes. KGMI sole responsibility is to award the prize. No purchase necessary. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Due to the value of the prize, a W-9 must be completed and a copy of a Washington State issued ID must be submitted at the Cascade Radio Group offices during regular business hours. Listener has until March 17th, 2019 to fill out the paperwork at the Cascade Radio Group offices. After that date, if the paperwork has not been filled out, the winner will forfeit the prize.
