KGMI’s Spring Fling is BACK!  Join KGMI NewsTalk 790 at any of our Spring Fling broadcasts and completely fill out an entry with your name, birthdate, phone number, and city of residence for a chance to win the $5,000 Spring Fling Shopping Spree.  Broadcasts will occur at the following dates/locations:

At the conclusion of each broadcast, up to two qualifiers will be randomly drawn from all entries submitted at that broadcast.  Up to 14 qualifiers may be chosen in this manner.

Two “Last Chance Qualifiers” will be selected on Monday, May 21st and Tuesday, May 22nd at approximately 8:50am.  KGMI will broadcast a cue to call.  Once the cue is broadcast, caller 7 at (360) 676-5464 will win and be a “Last Chance Qualifier.”  There will be 1 qualifier per cue to call, with no more than 2 total qualifiers chosen in this manner.

Each qualifier will win 2 tickets aboard the “KGMI Spring Fling Cruise” from San Juan Cruises on Thursday, May 24th from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Approximate retail value is $118.  All qualifiers MUST claim their tickets in person and be aboard the “Spring Fling Cruise” on Thursday, May 24th to have a chance to win the grand prize.  Qualifiers can claim their tickets in person at San Juan Cruises, 355 Harris Ave., Suite 104, Bellingham, WA, between 5:30PM-6:00PM on Thursday, May 24th. During the “KGMI Spring Fling Cruise” from 6:00PM-8:00P aboard San Juan Cruises, one grand prize winner will be drawn by a designated KGMI staff member from all entries and double checked for any eligibility restrictions. The grand prize winner will win a $5,000 credit to be used as the winner wishes amongst the contest sponsors. To make a claim, the sponsor should deliver an invoice to Lynn Roberts at Cascade Radio Group.  Cascade Radio Group will then cut a check to the sponsor for the value of the purchase. This value will be deducted from the credit available to the winner.  Winner should keep track of their remaining balance when making purchases.  Any remaining balance over $5,000 will be winner’s responsibility and may prohibit them from claiming their purchase until it is paid (at the discretion of the sponsor). The winner has until August 31, 2018 to spend their winnings.  If all $5,000 is not used before the deadline, it will be forfeited.  Once the remaining balance is below $50.00, a check can be cut directly to the winner to zero out the balance of the winnings. Once the entry drawn is deemed eligible, the winner will be announced.  If the entry drawn is deemed to be ineligible, a new winner will be drawn. Qualifiers and winners will be chosen at the sole discretion of KGMI. Listeners may only qualify one time. No purchase necessary. KGMI’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize, and will have no further responsibility if the winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use the prize. Winner will be responsible for any federal and state taxes, as well as all fees and incidentals related to the prize.

KGMI contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 18 or older, that have not won anything on KGMI in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KGMI, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the KGMI main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

Grand Prize will be awarded after the winner has completed all applicable tax forms.  Due to the value of the prize, a W-9 must be completed and a copy of a Washington State issued ID must be submitted at the Cascade Radio Group offices during regular business hours.  Listener has until June 20, 2018, to fill out the paperwork at the Cascade Radio Group offices.  After that date, if the paperwork has not been filled out, the winner will forfeit the prize.
