Spring Fling is Back!

Between the dates of 04/19/21-05/21/21, listeners will have an opportunity to enter KGMI’s Spring Fling three ways, the first is by scanning the QR code on the Spring Fling poster located at each of the sponsors listed below, which will lead them to an Aptivada entry form where they are required to fill out their first and last name, phone number, date of birth, gender and their zip code. Entrants must agree to terms for Aptivada through KGMI.com and go through the complete registration process. The following sponsors will have a QR code; Robinson Hardwood & Homes, Dewaard & Bode and Walls & Windows. At the end of the QR code registration period, 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 21st, a total of 1 entry will be drawn at random from all entries submitted via QR code.
At the completion of each of the on-line registration events happening between 6a-6p on May 5, 2021; May 12, 2021 and on May 19, 2021, a total of 6 entries will be drawn (1 per on-line registration event listed) and held for inclusion in the Grand Prize drawing happening May 24, 2021.
At the completion of each “Spring Fling” on-site or virtual event/broadcast (see schedule below) 1 entry will be drawn from all entries submitted at that broadcast to qualify for the grand prize drawing. If an entry is deemed ineligible, it will be disqualified, and a new entry will be drawn in its place. There will be no more than 3 qualifiers drawn in this manner.
There is a limit of one qualifier per household. On Monday, May 24, 2021, the Grand Prize winner from the 10 total pre-selected qualifiers will be drawn and announced on-air during the KGMI Morning News between 5:45 a.m. and 9:45 am.
Grand Prize is a $2500 credit to be used as the winner wishes amongst the following contest sponsors:

The Grand Prize will be awarded after the winner has completed all applicable forms at the Cascade Radio Group offices, 2219 Yew Street Road in Bellingham, WA. Due to the value of the prize, an IRS Form W-9 must be completed, and a copy of a Washington State issued ID must be submitted at the Cascade Radio Group offices during regular business hours. Listener has until Monday, June 27, 2021 to complete the paperwork at the Cascade Radio Group offices. After that date, if the paperwork has not been filled out, the winner will forfeit the prize. The winner will be issued an embossed letter on KGMI letterhead to present at the sponsors of their choice as they spend their winnings. Cascade Radio Group will then cut a check directly to the sponsor. The winner has until August 31, 2021 to use their winnings (the $2,500 credit). At that time, any remaining balance will be forfeited. Once the winner has a remaining balance of $50 or less, Cascade Radio Group will cut them a check for the difference.

Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from the 10 finalists and will be announced during the KGMI morning show on Monday, May 24, 2021 between 5:45 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Grand Prize is a $2,500 credit to be used as the winner wishes amongst the contest sponsors. To make a claim, the sponsor should deliver an invoice to Lynn Roberts at Cascade Radio Group. Cascade Radio Group will then cut a check to the sponsor for the value of the purchase. This value will be deducted from the credit available to the winner. Winner should keep track of their remaining balance when making purchases. Any remaining balance over $2,500 will be winner’s responsibility and may prohibit them from claiming their purchase until it is paid (at the discretion of the sponsor). The winner has until August 31, 2021 to spend their winnings. If all $2,500 is not used before the deadline, it will be forfeited. Once the remaining balance is below $50.00, a check can be cut directly to the winner to zero out the balance of the winnings.
KGMI contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 18 or older, that have not won anything on KGMI in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of KGMI, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the KGMI main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian. Winner should keep track of their remaining balance when making purchases. Any remaining balance over $2,500 will be the winner’s responsibility and may prohibit them from claiming their purchase until it is paid (at the discretion of the sponsor).

After that date, if the paperwork has not been filled out, the winner will forfeit the prize.
