BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham police officer already on administrative leave for an arrest in February was arrested again this Tuesday on charges related to stalking and violating a no-contact order.
Officer Corporal Brooks Laughlin was arrested February 10th by the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office after they say he was trespassing and intimidating his ex-wife in a domestic incident.
Bellingham police say they helped the Everson Police Department arrest Laughlin on these most recent accusations.
The Bellingham Police Department says it will decide on the next steps to take internally after they get all of the arrest information from Everson police.
