BELLINGHAM, Wash. — During last weekend’s Northwest Cancer Climb, nearly 90 hikers summited Oyster Dome and raised more than $4,000 for the Bellingham-based cancer-health nonprofit Binaytara Foundation.
The group works on cancer-related projects worldwide.
Organizers plan to make the climb an annual springtime event and are planning another climb for August of this year.
At the end of this month, the Binaytara Foundation is hosting the 2018 Summit on National and Global Cancer Health Disparities in Seattle.
