FERNDALE, Wash. — Hovander Road will close Friday to all traffic, including emergency vehicles and buses, while crews clean up after Tuesday’s semi-trailer rollover accident.
The closure is from 9am to 5pm starting at the 5300 block of Hovander and running until it becomes West Smith Road.
Detours will be in place.
A semi-trailer carrying 24-tons of aluminum was headed to Alcoa Intalco when it took the turn at Hovander and Smith too tight and was pulled into the mud and swamp-like water.
