BELLINGHAM, Wash. – More than 250 WWU students, faculty and staff joined in an event Wednesday to stand against anti-Semitism on campus.

Three weeks ago, Provost Brent Carbajal reported books on Jewish topics were destroyed in Western’s Wilson Library.

In response, the University purchased replacement books and held a ceremony in the Library Reading Room to unveil the new, larger collection with replacement volumes and additional titles.

Western President Sabah Randhawa said the University is united against the anti-Semitic vandalism that happened in March, and all acts of hatred and bigotry.
