BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Starting June 7th, the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office will add a $25 dollar fee to all recorded documents.
It does not apply to documents exempted from recording fees under state law.
The new fees mandated by two new state laws are meant to help fund programs to end homelessness and create affordable housing.
