FERNDALE, Wash. – A new health care center is coming to Ferndale.
Unity Care Northwest plans to break ground this summer on a new 23,000 square foot facility off Portal Way with an anticipated opening in summer of 2019.
The North Whatcom Health Center will offer primary medical services, plus dental and behavioral practices.
It is expected to employ 60 persons full time.
The company says a capital grant from the Washington State Legislature and tax credits paved the way for the project.
