Bellingham, Wash. – Bellingham residents have an opportunity to dispose of unneeded prescription medications safely this Saturday.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is this Saturday from 10 – 2 at the Bellingham Police Department.
The disposal service is free and anonymous with no questions asked for residential drop-off.
In addition to reducing accidental poising risk, authorities say proper disposal is good for the environment.
