FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash. — Game of Thrones actress, Maisie Williams, and a team of researchers will produce a short documentary in the San Juan Islands focusing on the endangered resident orcas and their dwindling food source.
Williams is a vocal wildlife activist devoted to healthy marine life and said the documentary has been her passion project for years.
The team released a campaign video via social media, aiming to raise $14,000 in donations for production.
