OLYMPIA, Wash. — State Attorney General Bob Ferguson is again taking on the Trump administration, this time over EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt’s decision to roll back Obama-era fuel economy standards for cars and trucks.
Ferguson is joining sixteen other states and the District of Columbia in a lawsuit against the EPA.
Ferguson says Pruitt’s move is illegal because it wasn’t based on any new information that would invalidate the previous policy.
This is Ferguson’s twenty-fifth lawsuit against the Trump Administration.
