LA PUSH, Wash. — The Coast Guard and NOAA crews are working to untangle a juvenile gray whale from fishing gear about 15 miles off La Push.
The US Coast Guard Pacific Northwest tweeted on Tuesday several agencies are responding including members of the Large Whale Entanglement Network.
As of last night, the whale remains entangled, but crews deployed a tracker in order to quickly relocate it this morning.
