BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The body of a snowboarder missing on Mount Baker has been found and recovered.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office reports search and rescue crews recovered Vitaliy Datskiy’s body from the north face cliffs of Pan Dome near the Mount Baker Ski Area Sunday.
The 24-year-old Bellingham man’s friends reported him missing on January 21st when he failed to arrive at their meeting place.
Two other snowboarders have been missing near Mount Baker since November.
