OLYMPIA, Wash. — Expect gas prices to begin falling in the next few weeks.

A recent report from GasBuddy says average prices in Washington are fifty-seven cents higher than this same time last year, but should start to go down.

AAA shows Washington is regularly among the most expensive states along with Oregon, California and Nevada with the current statewide average at $3.46.

The average price here in Whatcom County for a gallon of regular is the second highest in the state at $3.57, while San Juan County residents are paying an average of just over $4 a gallon.
