LAKEWOOD, Wash. — Another semi-truck crash after the driver apparently fell asleep at the wheel on northbound I-5 Thursday night.
The State Patrol tells KOMO the rig and trailer veered off I-5 in Lakewood and dropped onto the street below spilling food products.
No other cars were involved and only the driver was injured.
On May 23rd, a semi hauling 40,000 pounds of feathers overturned on northbound I-5 about 20-miles north in Federal Way, also due to a drowsy driver.
