Monday morning construction could cause traffic delays near Ferndale High

FERNDALE, Wash. — A Ferndale traffic revision is planned for Monday, potentially causing long delays.

The City of Ferndale says crews will widen and improve Washington Street from Main Street to Vista Drive as part of the Washington Street Improvement Project. Crews will widen and improve this section to include new sidewalks, curbs, gutters, bicycle shoulders, an improved bus pullout, and wider vehicle lanes.

Drivers should consider alternate routes near the intersection of Vista Drive and Washington Street between 9 A.M. and 2 P.M.. A section of the west side of Washington Street will be closed and Vista Drive will be reduced to one lane.
