WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. — It’s just over a week away before families can go see jets up close and watch aerial displays at the Navy’s headquarters on Whidbey Island.
Naval Air Station Whidbey Island will hold its annual open house from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. on Saturday, June 23rd, at Ault Field.
This is an opportunity for the public to see and learn about past, current and future operations at the Navy’s only air station in the Pacific Northwest.
There will be lots of aircraft displays, from jets to helicopters. Many aerial demonstrations are planned during the day.
There also will be guided bus tours, a climbing wall, a bouncy house, and K-9 Working Dog demonstrations.
