BOTHELL, Wash. — Lynnwood High School is mourning the loss of two 17-year-old students over the weekend.
KOMO reports Sayon Savorn and Ryan Truong were co-captains of the football team.
Savorn’s mother found him dead of suicide Saturday evening, and Truong was found dead Monday morning of what the medical examiner believes were natural causes.
Classmates wore yellow and decorated two empty parking spots in honor of the two boys.
The coaching staff tells KOMO players next year will have helmet stickers of the students’ jersey numbers, but no one will wear their numbers, #11 and #25.
