Drive into Silver Lake Park will be blocked for repaving

MAPLE FALLS, Wash. — The main drive into Silver Lake Park will be closed all day Thursday for repaving.

Whatcom County Parks and Recreation reports that both lanes at the main entrance of Silver Lake Park will be blocked off to comers and goers, provided it doesn’t rain.

Visitors can park at the Group Campground or Red Mountain Campground and walk trails to access the park.

Repaving the main drive is part of a reconstruction project by Whatcom County Parks and Recreation that began in April and is expected to conclude on June 22nd.
