BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham Fire Department responded to a house fully engulfed in flames early Tuesday on King Mountain.
The department tweeted that they were able to knock the fire down quickly, and no one was injured.
Photos on its Facebook show a fire wall separating part of the home that was completely destroyed by the fire, from the rest of the structure which appears intact.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but crews say it appears accidental.
Pictures and pre arrival video from this mornings structure fire. In the pictures you can see what an intact fire wall and a closed fire door can do to protect your house. Fire codes helped save this house… https://t.co/El4eZ7xdKX
