BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Troopers believe a Bellingham woman was driving under the influence in a Dodge Dakota Pickup when she hit a pedestrian walking on Lummi Shore Road early Sunday morning.
The State Patrol says 33-year-old Samantha J. Jefferson hit Martina C. Mott of Sedro-Woolley just after 12:30 A.M. near Scott Road.
Mott was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Jefferson faces vehicular assault charges.
