BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham was recognized as one of the best towns in the U.S. to spend summer.
The city earned a spot on Forbes Magazine’s recent list of the 14 Coolest Towns for Your Summer Vacation.
Bellingham’s proximity to the San Juan Islands, Canada and Seattle combined with its plethora of outdoor recreation opportunities make it a desirable destination, Forbes says.
Leavenworth and Plain, Washington also earned a spot on the list thanks to their legendary events, good food and beautiful scenery.
