OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol’s Homeland Security Division is alerting everyone about transportation of fireworks on Washington State Ferries.
It is against policy for transportation of illegal fireworks on any Washington State Ferry. Illegal fireworks include sky rockets (including bottle rockets), missile-type rockets, chasers, and salutes.
Troopers and K-9 units will be checking vehicles before they’re allowed on a ferry.
