LONGVIEW, Wash. — An incident at the Port of Longview on Thursday left three injured and one dead.
The Daily News reports a mooring vessel line snapped as crews were moving a ship from one loading hatch to another.
A 34-year-old deckworker died from blunt force injuries and the vessel’s chief officer is seriously injured.
Various federal, state and local agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard, are investigating the incident.
