BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Van Zandt man accused of child rape was arrested on multiple charges.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on a suspect in the 3900 block of Nelson Road in Deming Tuesday, July 10.
59-year-old Billy Bad T Lewing was arrested.
Two adult women reported that between 2004 and 2010 while living in the suspect’s home, both had been subjected to sexual abuse.
During that timeline both women were juveniles.
Deputies found numerous illicit drugs during the search.
Weapons also were seized.
Lewing was booked for two counts of rape of a child, four counts of unlawful possession of firearms, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
The investigation is ongoing.
