FERNDALE, Wash. — Drivers in Ferndale should expect delays for the next week.
Kyla Boswell from the City of Ferndale said Alder Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue will be closed to through traffic until July 25.
Traffic will be detoured around the road work, possibly causing backups. Drivers should consider alternate routes.
The road will be closed during work hours to finish utility improvements associated with a private development project.
