BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Whatcom County’s unemployment rate was up slightly in June, putting it on par with the statewide rate of 4.7%.
The Employment Security Department reports this is up slightly from May’s rate, but carries on a year-over-year decline.
June’s rate is the lowest since 2007’s 4.5% unemployment rate.
