MARBLEMOUNT, Wash. — A scenic North Cascades road is officially open for the season.
The National Parks Service announced Cascade River Road is now open to all vehicles after it was closed for road repairs following winter storms and flooding.
Crews will still be working on the road and drivers should use caution near any large trucks or equipment they come across.
Cascade River Road is the gateway to a number of popular hikes and climbing routes.
