BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Skies in Whatcom County are slightly hazy due to wildfires in both California and Washington, but so far, it hasn’t affected air quality.

Washington’s Air Monitoring Network, among other surveyors, currently show air quality across Whatcom County is in good condition.

The National Weather Service reports cooler air coming in from the water will bring temperatures down significantly, putting them back in the normal range, and possibly lower.

However, no reportable rainfall is expected to break up the dry streak any time soon.
