OLYMPIA, Wash. — You have a chance to comment on statewide transportation plans and goals.
The Washington State Department of Transportation just released a policy plan mandating transportation goals that include environmental health, safety, preservation, and economic vitality.
“This plan will shape how we think about transportation problems and solutions from rural Washington to our biggest cities. Input now will help make sure we hear everyone’s perspective,” said Commissioner Debbie Young.
The public is invited to review and comment on the draft plan, which will be presented to Governor Inslee and the state legislature.
Comments are due by September 20.
