LOPEZ ISLAND, Wash. — A small plane carrying two people crashed on Lopez Island Thursday night.
The FAA tells KOMO the Mooney M20J went down as it approached the island’s airport, but it’s not clear what caused the plane to go down.
No names have been released and the pilot and passenger’s conditions are not immediately known.
The NTSB and FAA are expected to investigate.
