OLYMPIA, Wash. — With more than seven months of the year gone, the IRS is urging taxpayers to double check their tax withholding following the tax law changes late last year.
The IRS says recent reports show many taxpayers could see some negative changes in their refund come tax time in early 2019.
The agency is holding its second “Paycheck Checkup” effort beginning this week to help people avoid unwelcome surprises.
