SPOKANE, Wash. — Another inmate has died in the Spokane County Jail, the eighth death at the facility in the past fourteen months.
The woman was pronounced dead Saturday evening after being found unresponsive in her cell.
The Spokesman-Review reports the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
Three inmates died from suicides and two from fights with fellow inmates, but the causes behind the other deaths are still unknown.
