TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Health officials say West Nile Virus was discovered in a sampling of mosquitoes near the Port of Tacoma earlier this month.
Q13 reports a single mosquito bite can lead to an infection.
Virus symptoms usually develop 2 to 14 days after a bite and include headache, fever, muscle and joint aches, swollen lymph nodes and rash.
