SEATTLE, Wash. — The estimated cost for a new facility at Sea-Tac has almost reached $1 billion, but a review panel says they don’t expect the cost to increase any further.
The Seattle Times reports the planned International Arrivals Facility was originally set to open in August 2020, but is eight months behind schedule.
An independent review panel appointed by the Port of Seattle estimated the current cost at $968 million.
Back in 2013, the Port of Seattle originally estimated the project to cost $300 million.
