STANWOOD, Wash. — A 37-year-old man who was walking in the right lane of I-5 near Stanwood died Tuesday night when he was struck by two cars.
The State Patrol says a Mount Vernon driver hit the man causing him to land in the middle lane of I-5.
Another driver then hit the man, who has not been identified pending next of kin notification, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say neither driver is facing charges.

State Patrol identifies the man who was killed as Andrew Ryan Johnson of Sedro-Woolley.
Troopers haven’t yet said why Johnson was walking on the freeway.
