LYNDEN, Wash. — WHAT-COMM 911 is now dispatching first responders in Lynden.
The emergency service managed by the Bellingham Police Department made the announcement on its Facebook page.
Officers in north Whatcom County had been dispatched by a service run by Customs and Border Protection for decades, but WHAT-COMM 911 says the switch should speed up response times.
