BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center says they have a chance to buy a historic building at 206 Prospect Street (adjacent to the courthouse and jail parking lot), and they plan to renovate it to “create a permanent place for peace.”
The 6,300 square foot area would provide a larger training space, more mediation and conference rooms, and make it compliant with the Americans with Disability Act.
WDRC says thanks to their many funders they have 76% of the funds needed to achieve their goal.
