BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Experts will be at Squalicum High School this weekend helping students apply for financial aid.
The Washington Student Achievement Council is organizing events called College Goal Washington around the state where they will work with students who are applying for financial aid to go to college in the 2019-2020 school year.
The agency says students who file their financial aid applications are far more likely to attend college, but colleges have varying deadlines and the application process can be confusing.
Anyone who wants to pursue post-secondary education is welcome to attend their event from 1-4 PM Sunday at Squalicum High.
