CAMANO ISLAND, Wash. — Prosecutors have charged a pastor with stealing $40,000 donated for victims of the Oso landslide.
KING 5 reports Island County investigators uncovered the theft while investigating reports of embezzlement at a church on Camano Island where Gary Ray recently worked.
Ray was a pastor at the Oso Community Chapel when the landslide hit in 2014, killing 43 people.
