The Western Viking volleyball team won their 18th match in a row Thursday night beating Alaska Anchorage on the road in four sets.  The Vikings are up to #4 in the national rankings.  Western has an 18-3 record overall and 13-0 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play.  They visit Alaska Fairbanks Saturday afternoon.

The Western women’s soccer team beat 6th-ranked Concordia 2-1.  Alice Hiebert and Grace Eversaul had goals in the win for WWU.  The Vikings improve to 12-2-1 on the year and 7-1-1 in conference play.  They host Western Oregon Saturday.

The Western men’s soccer team also won Thursday beating Saint Martin’s in Lacey 2-0.  The Vikings got goals from Louis Gentry and Stephen Jinneman.  Western now has a record of 7-6-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the GNAC.  They are off until Thursday when they host Northwest Nazarene.
