ANACORTES, Wash. — Three teens were hurt, with one taken to Harborview Medical Center, after a Mount Vernon driver lost control and crashed into a tree early Sunday morning.
The State Patrol believes 18-year-old Basil Hauser-Anderson was speeding on a road outside Anacortes when he spun-out and slammed the passenger side of an Acura RSX into a tree.
Hauser-Anderson was the only one not injured.
Two of his three passengers, an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old, were taken to the hospital.
Troopers don’t know if drugs or alcohol were involved and are still investigating before leveling any charges.
