ANACORTES, Wash. — Next Sunday is Veterans Day and Washington State Ferries plan to salute all past and present men and women of our armed forces.
All ferries in service on Veterans Day will observe two minutes of silence at 11:11 AM and sound their whistles after the silence to acknowledge the passengers and employees aboard who have served.
In addition, all operating ferries will fly the POW/MIA flag all weekend long.
