ANACORTES, Wash. — The public is invited to comment on a management plan for the San Juan Islands National Monument, the 1,000 acre piece of land designated as protected by President Obama in 2013.
The Skagit Valley Herald reports the Bureau of Land Management released a draft management plan and Environmental Impact Statement last month and is now taking public comment on the documents.
The agency will hold an open house at 6 PM on Friday, November 9 at the Anacortes Public Library.
