BELLINGHAM, Wash. — An activist group in Bellingham joined others protesting around the country in support of protecting Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.
The activist group, which claims to be non-partisan, rallied around Bellingham City Hall at 5 PM Thursday.
Indivisible Bellingham says the protests come in response to the resignation of Jeff Sessions and the news of President Trump installing Matthew Whitaker as Acting Attorney General, who they say has a conflict of interest.
The activists are demanding that Whitaker recuse himself.
