BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Whatcom County Treasurer’s Office is holding its annual auction of foreclosed properties on Friday in the Whatcom County Courthouse.
After property taxes become three years delinquent, the Treasurer’s Office will foreclose on a property and bring it to auction.
Usually, any liens on the property are removed.
All properties are purchased “as is” and only with cash, cashier’s check or money order.
Registration can be done the day of the event.
