LYNDEN, Wash. — A local campground won a prestigious award for its high quality.
Kampgrounds of America — also known as KOA — says the Lynden-Bellingham KOA Campground earned the 2019 President’s Award and Founders Award Wednesday at KOA’s international convention in Texas.
KOA says it surveys hundreds of thousands of campers each year and the Lynden-Bellingham campground on Line Road in Lynden had rave reviews for quality and customer service.
KOA has nearly 500 locations in North America.
