BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The hand recount of the 42nd District state senate and house races begins Thursday at 8 AM.
It is open to the public and will take place on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse.
For those who are interested in attending, there is a meeting Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the County Council Chambers of the courthouse to inform people of the recount procedures.
While other election results were finalized on Tuesday, the date and time for the certification of these results will be posted to the Auditor’s webpage later.
