BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Get free parking in Bellingham this month by downloading their pay-by-phone app.
The City of Bellingham is offering free parking to first-time users of the City’s parking payment app starting Monday, December 10 and running through Christmas Eve.
The City joined the PayByPhone smartphone app two years ago to make it easier to pay for and manage parking downtown without needing a pocketful of change.
To receive free parking with first use of the payment app, drivers need to register an account and enter payment and license plate information.
The convenience does come at a price as the app charges a twenty-five cent transaction fee.
